solidian Wall Crack Anchor

The simple connection of masonry parts to an effective bond, which can be achieved with little effort, is the main focus of the carbon-based solidian Wall Crack Anchor. Cracks in (masonry) façades as well as in the area of openings and (arched) lintels can be repaired efficiently and economically with only minimal interventions in the masonry.
Regardless of the possible cause of cracks, they represent significant influences on the overall system of a building and should therefore be repaired with a durable solution. In this context, the structural reinforcement (needling) of masonry structures to restore their serviceability or maintain their stability is also possible.

characteristics & advantages

  • convincingly better material and bond properties with carbon compared to stainless steel spiral anchors
  • no removal and reconstruction of (partial) elements necessary
  • durable crack bridging
  • quickly done, minimal intervention in the masonry
  • visually unremarkable and masked repair
  • easy handling and installation, no special training necessary
  • applicable for many types of masonry
  • rectangular cross-section allows flexible adaptation to bed joint width

technical information

  • significantly higher tensile strength compared to metallic spiral anchors
  • material properties and good bonding effect lead to a better control of the crack width
  • force-fit connection of masonry parts
  • effective transfer of (high) tensile loads
  • material does not prevent the normal movement of the building part, because of its springy effect
  • corrosion-free carbon material
  • good bonding effect over sand coated surface and (any) anchor mortar

applications

  • repair of cracks in masonry or plastered facades
  • subsequent anchoring and reinforcement of masonry parts
  • (technical) measure for the preservation of historic buildings and monuments
